Debit Card Paid NSF is a service in which Patelco will pay overdrafts for debit card purchases you make at a store, online, or by telephone. You have to opt in to this service if you want Patelco to authorize debit card transactions that overdraw your Checking Account.
There is no charge for having this service available to you, but there is a per use fee of $28. However, if you overdraw your account but make a sufficient transfer or deposit before the posted cut-off time that same business day, there will be no Debit Card Paid NSF fee(s) assessed.
